Highways claims; involving issues relating to S41(I) and S58 Highways Act 1980; causation and quantum.
Road Traffic claims; involving allegations of fraud, low velocity impact; and cases in which exaggerated claims for damages impacted on cost orders.
Employer’s Liability; cases relating to industrial disease, hand arm vibration syndrome, work related upper limb disorder, asbestosis/ Mesothelioma, asthma, orthopaedic injuries and stress at work.
Claims involving Occupiers Liability Acts in non industrial premises.
Represented applicants and respondents in cases concerned with unfair dismissal, redundancy, discrimination based on sex and race.
Appeared in multiple cases concerned with the Caravan Site Act, and orders relating to the eviction of travellers camps.
Mr Geey has appeared in cases that have been considered by Magistrates, and which have gone for review directly to the High Court, and on appeals in the Crown Court, Divisional Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court.
