Fourth Civil Clerk & Junior Civil Fees Administrator

Fourth Civil Clerk Vacancy

7 Harrington Street Chambers has a full time position available to work as 4th Civil Clerk within a busy chambers.  The role starts at £14,000 per annum, 25 days holiday and a pension scheme are also offered. 

Normal Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am – 5.30pm.

The successful candidate will be working within chambers as a fourth civil clerk, they will need to follow set procedures and will liaise with both solicitors and barristers on a daily basis.

• Daily civil clerking including taking bookings for counsel and diary management.
• Receiving and booking in of instructions onto the case management system.
• Particular responsibility for processing of civil fees.
• Assisting Senior Civil Clerks with daily routines

We are looking for someone who has had previous experience of working within a similar role, dealing with administration and customer service. Computer and communication skills are essential for this role.

Junior Civil Fees Administrator

7 Harrington Street Chambers has a full time position available to work as Junior Fees Administrator within a busy chambers.  The role starts at £12,000 per annum (National Minimum Wage rates apply) , 25 days holiday and a pension scheme are also offered. 

Normal working hours are Monday to Friday 9am – 5.30pm.

The successful candidate will be working within chambers as a Junior Fees Administrator, they will need to follow set procedures and provide support and assistance to the Civil Fees Department in all aspects of credit control.

• Fee Collection working with report as directed by Senior Civil Fee Clerk.
• Liaising with Solicitors firms in relation to outstanding fees.
• Data input of daily correspondence on system.
• Acting as relief receptionist.

We are looking for someone who has had previous experience of working within a similar role, dealing with administration and customer service. Computer and communication skills are essential for this role.
