A carer grabbed, punched and twisted the arms of a 91-year-old woman he was supposed to be looking after.

Jack Winter was working at Brooklands Care Home in Old Swan as a health care assistant and had only been in the job for two weeks when he left a resident with “extensive bruising”. Liverpool Crown Court heard on Tuesday, January 9, the 33-year-old was working a nightshift on July 10, 2022.
