Areas of Practice

I am a well established Family Practitioner based in Liverpool, principally in Public Law Proceedings. I am instructed by all local authorities in Merseyside but also regularly represent parents and children.

Having conduct of applications on behalf of local authorities, which often involve several parties and complex issues relating to serious non-accidental injury and/or death has, I beleive, allowed me to develop good case management skills and an ability to identify key issues and communicate effectively with both professional colleagues and lay parties.

I regularly lecture on Family Law at seminars organised both by Chambers and other professional organisations. I chaired the 2010 Liverpool Law Society Family Law Conference.
