Areas of Practice


Rebecca has particular experience of ancillary police prosecutions including sexual prevention orders, firearm revocations, football banning orders and cash detention and forfeiture applications. Her defence practice involves a wide variety of criminal cases ranging from public order offences, fraud, sexual and serious violent offences. She has also had success when representing applicants bringing actions against the police and has experience in prison adjudications and parole hearings.

Rebecca has appeared in the coroner’s court and has been regularly instructed to act as a legal advisor to Cleveland Constabulary during police disciplinary hearings.


Rebecca specialises in all aspects of criminal work for both defence and prosecution and handles cases in the criminal courts at all levels.

Rebecca has experience of law involving children in both public and private proceedings.
