Family
Daniel is developing a busy family practice covering all aspects of a family practice and represents all parties to proceedings. He has acted on behalf of Local Authorities, parents, intervenors and children through Guardians.
Daniel access instructions in all private family law matters relating to contact, residence, prohibited steps applications and specific issue applications. Daniel has advised and represented applicants and respondents at first directions appointments, financial dispute resolution hearings and final hearings.
Daniel further regularly acts in respect of applications brought under the Family Law Act.
Daniel regularly appears within Children Act matters, within the Family Proceedings Court, County Court, High Court and Court of Appeal, dealing with all matters from PLO proceedings, through to Hague Convention & Child Abduction cases. Daniel accepts instructions on behalf of Local Authorities, Parents and on behalf of Children through their Guardian relating to:
Daniel has conducted urgent hearings, case management hearings, experts meetings, interim contested hearings as well as multi-day final hearings, including being led as junior counsel. Including cases dealing with domestic abuse, neglect, emotional and sexual harm, substance misuse and non-accidental injury.

Daniel specialises in family law.
Prior to completing pupillage, Daniel achieved a Very Competent with a Dean’s Award for Excellence whilst completing the BPTC. Before that, Daniel studied law at Liverpool John Moores University graduating in the top 5% of his year. Growing up in Liverpool, Daniel is an avid fan of Liverpool Football Club, a self-confessed Gourmand and a very keen (and serious) baker.
