Practice Overview

Miss Denn-White joined chambers in 2022 after successfully completing a common law pupillage under the supervision of Miss Sarah Holt.

Miss Denn-White is regularly instructed to prosecute and defend in cases in the Crown Court covering the full spectrum of criminal work.

Recent instructions have included cases of serious violence, serious and historic sexual offences and drugs conspiracies. These cases have involved the use of ABE interviews, the section 28 cross examination procedure and the instruction of telecommunications experts.

Miss Denn-White is accustomed to dealing with cases at short notice and prides herself in client care and ensuring the best possible outcome for her client. Miss Denn-White receives repeat instructions from a number of solicitors due to her ability to build strong working relationships.

Miss Denn-White has acted for the local authority and parents in a variety of family matters including interim removal hearings and final hearings and is experienced in drafting the associated written work.

Notable Cases

  • R v J (2024) – represented a client named first on the indictment within a multi-handed class A drugs conspiracy trial that involved the transportation of dozens of kilograms of class A drugs around the UK.
  • R v R (2024) – secured the acquittal of a client charged with 2 counts of Rape dated over 10 years ago.
  • R v F (2024) – secured the acquittal of a client in a multi-handed violent disorder trial that was featured in national newspapers. The case involved numerous legal applications.
  • R v P (2023) – represented a client charged with multiple counts of sexual activity with a child.
  • R v W, R v F & R v F (2023 & 2024) – secured suspended sentences for a number of clients who have been convicted of possessing class A drugs with intent to supply.
  • R v R, N & A (2022) – Led Junior for the prosecution. The trial concerned 3 defendants within an Organised Crime Group that were involved in the importation of class A drugs from the Caribbean to the UK. All defendants were convicted after trial. Led by Mr William Beardmore.
