Paul represents parents, children and grandparents within private law proceedings.  Paul has vast experience of applications for child arrangements orders, prohibited steps orders, Special Guardianship orders, relocation applications and injunctions.  Paul appears in interim hearings, fact-find hearings and contested final hearings.  Paul frequently represents parties in matters of complexity, which include domestic abuse, allegations sexual or physical abuse of children, coercive and controlling behaviour, illicit substance misuse and parental alienation. 

Public law children

Paul represents local authorities, parents, children and grandparents within public law proceedings at interim case management hearings, issue resolution hearings, fact-find hearings and final hearings.  Paul has vast experience of applications for care orders, placement orders, Forced Marriage protection orders, Deprivation of Liberty applications, applications for passport orders and port alerts.

Paul frequently represents parties in the High Court as well as the Family Court.

He has experience of cases involving allegations of inflicted injuries to children, cases involving allegations of fabricated illness, domestic abuse, illicit substance misuse.

Paul is regularly led in complex matters.
