Miss Watters accepts instructions on behalf of local authorities, parents and guardians within Public Law Children’s Act proceedings. She is experienced in dealing with Emergency Protection Orders, Care, Supervision and Placement and Adoption applications.

Miss Watters also represents parents in Private Law Children’s Act proceedings, including applications for contact and residence, and prohibited steps and specific issue applications.

Miss Watters also has experience of dealing with applications for non molestation orders and occupation orders.

Miss Watters is able to provide written advice when required and she is experienced in drafting threshold criteria, schedules of findings and questions to experts.

Miss Watters has experience in complex cases involving non accidental injuries and allegations of sexual abuse and she regularly deals with finding of fact hearings, contested final hearings and interim removal hearings.

Miss Watters is regularly instructed to draft schedules and pleadings and offers a quick turnaround of papers.

Miss Watters has particular experience in relation to complex high value claims and is regularly instructed to provide advice in relation to the valuation of significant and/or unusual injuries often involving complex loss of earnings and future loss claims.
