Mr Khawam joined chambers after being called to the Bar in 2024.
He is an experienced Criminal Law practitioner having worked in the field since 1988 as an outdoor clerk.
He qualified as a solicitor in 2005, became a Higher Courts advocate in 2010, and was called to the Bar in October 2024.
He brings a wealth of experience having been involved in all manner of criminal cases, as litigator and advocate, including murder, robbery and other serious violence, drugs supply and sexual offences.
Having defended for the majority of his career, he is now on the CPS Advocates Panel.
