Social Responsibility

At 7 Harrington Street Chambers, we are deeply committed to social responsibility. We actively engage in initiatives that support access to justice, community outreach, and environmental sustainability. Our members mentor aspiring barristers, and participate in various charitable activities. We believe in fostering an inclusive and diverse legal community, ensuring our actions reflect our values of equality and fairness. Through these efforts, we strive to make a positive impact on society and uphold the highest standards of social responsibility.

We are currently involved in the following schemes and initiatives;

  • Chambers has a Nominated Charity Representative faye.woods@7hs.co.uk.
  • We hold Charity Days Throughout The Year. Some recent examples include sponsoring a local school trip to London, World Book day collection for local hospital, Local Foodbank and Uniform drives. Please follow our socials for upcoming events.
  • Our Barristers attend carer talks and curriculum support days in Local Schools.
  • We run a popular Mini pupillage Scheme. Please email keith.whalley@7hs.co.uk to apply.
  • Our Barristers assist with Mooting Competitions at University Level
  • We work with local Pro Bono Charity
  • Encourage donations to Advocate https://weareadvocate.org.uk/

Environmental Impact:

7 Harrington Street Chambers views our environmental responsibilities as a key part of ensuring we run an effective business.  We are aware that environmental issues are becoming ever more important and necessary to maintain.  To this end we strive to operate in the most environmentally friendly way practical.
